4-1 start to the season as well look for a good start to the weekend.

Sportscapper CFB Play for Thursday - Okl. St.-Fla Atl. UNDER 47.5<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

For Thursday, we go with the Under when Oklahoma State travels to take on Florida Atlantic. Oklahoma State scored 15 points in their season opener at home against Montana State. That's a division 1 AA school and the Cowboys managed just 15 points on their own home field. I can't expect much from this team offensively all year.

Now, Florida Atlantic will never be mistaken for a perennial powerhouse but this team did hold Kansas to just 30 points on the road. That might not impress some of you but Kansas, who is supposed to have a very good offense this year, struggled for those points.

Florida Atlantic has a very good defense that no one knows about. But you will see just how good they are when they line up tonight. Both offenses are definitely nothing to write home about but both teams play good defense and with this total being set rather high, I like the under in this one.

i do not know where you read that ku is supposed to have a good offense...they have major qb problems and zero speed at running back.

ku defense is awesome.

Oklahoma State is one of my go against's this year as it is. I think their offense is weak, so we'll see tonight if they can produce anything better tonight. Late money is all over the Under, for whatever that is worth.

If OSU establishes a running game tonight this game could easily go over. Plus Fla. Atl. passed for 300 yards on a good Kansas defense last week. I don't know where you got the info that Kansas had a good offense. They've never had a good offense.

Kansas had all kinds of injuries last season and average almost 24 points per game, definitely nothing special, two years ago they averaged 29 - not bad. All reports this year is that this Kansas team is the best Mangino has had and that the offense is reportedly good. Whether that is true definitely remains to be seen.

Game is underway so we'll see what happens. I am definitely interested to follow KU this season as well, but we won't learn much about them this week - another non-board game- next week is LA. Tech - and then they are at Texas Tech after a bye. So we won't know how good KU is for a while.

Thanks for all the input though.
