I guess it needs some work, maybe the 9500 did not include the Username-Password instructions? Once you figure it out please let me know as I really would like to see what 9500 gets folks these days!

aaahhhh yes...the pains of developing a sportsbook platform.

IMHO, anyone would be crazy to purchase unfinished code. Most programmers prefer to develop from ground up as this is the only way to really know what you have. Furthermore...the thought of having your own inhouse sportsbook sounds so sweet, but the grass is not always greener;

Once you have a finished sportsbook, are you ready for the following;
1. Purchase server/s?
2. Purchase sql, oracle, or other much needed support sw?
3. Do you posess the knowledge to restart/rebuild the db when it needs a restart or crash? (and it will crash on occassion).
4. Are you willing to further develop the code for every little whim or request your top clients will require?
5. THE LIST GOES ON.....

Having been on the sw side for over 10 years now, I would have done things very differently. Bottom line however, if I was a new startup, I would outsource everything at today's pricing. $10/head/wk is dirt cheap for pph. If you can't make that work at 15% or less of your net operating expense...keep writing over the phone. Nonetheless, gl

Not true. Depends on your clients. If you have a bunch of young people, they want something they can see on blackberry/iphone. The last thing on their mind is calling it in

Like I said.No "REAL" business can survive without offering a phone #. You will lose a TON of volume. :ohno:
