Sportsbettingtrivia is now an F book but I am told they are paying everyone. At the very least they are open right now. Blue Marlin which he knew was going down was only a D book? Never made it as an F yet Buzz "knew it all the time". This guy is a total joke from here on out. I am ashamed of myself for sending people to this guy and talking highly of him. That blatant lie about not taking money from books was just the tip of the iceberg evidently. Maybe Peep is right, perhaps he is secretly owned by VIP. For him to laugh as players got burned on a book he knew was crashing is all the info I will ever need on him.

What a bunch of horseshit.

All this guy does is upgrade/downgrade at random and the one time a book goes down that he happened to downgrade, he thinks he's houdini.

I remember a lot of books being downgraded over the last year that did not go under.

How the fukk am I supposed to know when to bail on a book based on some stupid report card system?

SBR saved people I know money with his call on Blue Marlin. Some might not like, but for me money talks. Does the site have issues with "no ads" and VIP? Maybe, don't know.

When someone shows me better info from a non-forum site, will be interested.

Pat, Gentlemen:

This issue pertains to us, as we're one of the shops that are ranked on top of the SBR's list. To imply that the SBR.com's list is not solid, might give the new readers of this site the wrong idea about our operation.

Based solely on THAT fact -and not on the ongoing issues between the owners and moderators- I'd like to voice my opinion on this thread.

I have had the chance to talk to Buzzsaw on a regular basis and I have asked him what are the standards to assure the quality of the shops on that list. He basically told me his model is different to those traditionally used by the other watchdog sites and it depends on a variety of factors. If he believes a book might represent a high risk situation for the players, he will simply downgrade the book until he learns the ins and outs of the situation.(Hollywood Sportsbook, for example, was taken out of the list COMPLETELY, while we were struggling with the DDoS attacks. We were taken off, because Buzzsaw was not in the position to tell the players when we were gonna be up again. "And a dead link serves no purpose" to the players -quoting Buzzsaw- nor could he foresee what the consequences were going to be.) He has admitted to having made mistakes in the past and he told me he doesn't presume of having a perfect model. His, is simply a different idea.

In short, the rating of those books in SBR's list might defer to the ratings of any other site's list, but at this point in time Hollywood Sportsbook enjoys of an A Rating on SBR's list, based on our financial solvency and the way we run our operation.

And gentlemen please, the way people choose to run their websites is not our business. Booking our customers' action IS our business. If you guys have questions about the way SBR.com is operated, I believe you should ask Buzzsaw, as he's in the best position to address one an all issues. After all, it's his site.

This thread isn't very intelligent.

I don't have the right to judge his character and nor do I care to. This is about information. He displays his info based on how he sees fit. You should take it for what its worth. I don't agree with everything on it but maybe my information is different than his.
When a player on a basketball team scores you don't take off the 2 points because you don't like the guy as a person. Your personal views don't matter.

Anyways the players don't care about how things are said. They will take in what is offered and decide for themsleves.

If people were gonna decide which sites they visit based on the personal views alot of people would not have come back to the RX after GA went down and Sour Grapes was printed next to flashing GA banner ads.

Different spins on the actual info keeps it interesting and plays no real part. The only serious part is the $ itself.

Gentlemen..

My company has done everything possible to meet the demands of my clients and stay within the ground rules of the environment I am in...The attack on my company by SBR is unwarranted and biased..Every industry needs a watchdog organization which protects its members.I only hope through hard work and timely payouts my stock will raise..

The industry lately has had some fallout and I like anyone else understand paranoia..I believe my shop to be like a store..My door is open for business as it has been for the last year and a half..I welcome new business, and try to protect the business I have..Those who play with me know my company is a viable resource..It is for others to find out..

Lastly, I want to say to the customers who form my base, everyday you stay and play makes my value increase in the marketplace..I appreciate your confidence and investment with my book..

To those players, good luck in the near future..

Barry,
SBR will be happy to look at your situation again. But we tried to work a deal with you to guarentee all slow pays would be paid within 48 hours. The offer still stands.

Pat,
Is it that time of month or something? Whatever; carry on

Anytime anyone wants to compare records and who sent the players to slaughter (Pat) please let me know. Let's measure the bottom line. How many books have stolen players money on the Rx the last 2 years? 10? ....And SBR? ZERO

Pat I'm guessing your recent attack today is to deflect that the site you are some kind of player advocate wannabe on has seen 3 books fail in 60 days. Be a man and correct your own house first.

Help me out here Billdozer. Are you bragging for a book because the are paying you on a payment plan? Are you saying it is ok for a book to pay "as they can"?

These ideas would be laughed at in vegas or by any of the REAL books. If you don't have the money to handle the action, get out of the game.

Also, how can anyone from this site bash SBR. All, I heard from this site was how great Gamblers Avenue was. Also never heard a bad word about Blue Marlin. If not for sbr I was about to send money to them, but noticed his warnings about problems at a book and his poor ratings there, so I decided to send it elsewhere. His site is directly responsible for saving my money. This site hasn't saved me a penny in that regard. If anything the RX talking me into sending money to GA.

I think Buzz has good intentions. I can tell you from experience it is hell trying to help people sincerely and get your situation or words turned and your ideas and efforts frowned upon.

I had a nice big long juicy post to put here and the site went down and I didn't save it. any whoo..

newspaper,

My opinion on a book is you should not ignore any bumps in its record. I have a personal opinion of SBT which i put in a review and you can also search the archives here.

I posted heavy when players were worried and it's only fair I post when these players give me positives. I do not consider myself nearly a big enough source ( a couple players talked to) to be a sole referance on the book. I dunno what info SBR has. I'm just posting feedback of feedback from 3 players.

Sportsbook Review is the most trusted watchdog site in the industry. All the negatives comments regarding SBR is totally unwarranted and probably from some jealous sportsbooks or associates. They grade books according to how they see them and is no way influenced by any advertising money, like many other sites. If SBR says that their is a problem with a particular sportsbook, I would definetly be alarmed. SBR is the only site that saved me money, unlike many other sites that I have visited, which encourage you to deposit money into sportsbook that advertises with the site.

SBR does a great job. A lot better than the RX and MW at keeping players abreast of the market.

Shame you cant see that.
