I have a bet dispute with a book who would be rated A by most authorities. I think I have a pretty solid case but the book refuses to negotiate.
For the moment I withold the identity of the book, and the nature of the dispute, to avoid prejudice.
It seems to me that offshore sportsbooks are a law unto themselves. When there is a disagreement they are their own judge and jury. Bottom line is that where a lot of money is involved as there is here, they suit themselves.
I've seen several sites which review sportsbooks and offer to mediate disputes, but I get the distinct impression that they are largely funded by the larger sportsbooks, such as the one I am in dispute with. Any negative stuff about their paymasters is liable to be whitewashed.
I'd be very grateful for any informed advice.
