I have been a sports writer for 20 years in large markets, but have settled in north Louisiana and am doing a radio sports-talk show during drive time (5-6 p.m. local time).

Do overseas books advertise in local markets like mine.

Background: We are the top-rate AM show in drive time, our rates are very reasonable, and the audience is prime. Because of lack of competition, the local guys frequently run as much as 40-cent lines for baseball and lack the options of internet football books. It is football country. Big-time. I think it would work, if any is open minded about it, quite well.

Any thoughts?

I remember long time ago some books used to advertise themselves in sports talk shows, I remember once they talk show people came down to our book and they did the program live from CR, but now I think USA gov, always get involved trying to stop everything.

But you can give a try and maybe USA wont bother u. Actually I think is a good idea for books to advertise in those shows, giving promotions and everything. If you have a plan maybe you can talk to us about it.

You cant advertise over the airwaves Tv/radio, unless its a "play money site". Id hate to fuck with FCC nowadays.

freedom of press...
but one way to stay low on the radar... is to make an "information" site about offshore betting.. and advertise that....

market by proxy....hmmm... i know a little about that.

internet radio has made some great things happen for Dot Coms. The FCC has no current ruling on Offshore gaming content on internet radio stations. There is a station currently that is devoted to promoting the offshore gaming industry and is very dot com friendly.

Hit me up with an email for more info on this station holdingaces@gmail.com
