Just called to inquire about the book and hung up shaking my head. One of the most clueless customer books I have ever dealt with. Just don't know how the owners of these books must be thinking when they allow this. They have an outside company handling gambing support. I asked three basic question and the girl had to ask a supervisor all three individually. 0-3
Sad to hear. Customer service takes a back seat in some books, owners employ locals to deal with bettors who have questions that need to be handled by someone with practical experience. Baffles me when I hear stories like the one above, when a prospective customer calls any business, his or her first impression of the business is critical. That initial contact should be with someone sharp and knowlegeable. I know part of the problem is financial, good experienced CSD people demand decent pay. IMO. the expense is worth it. The other problem is these experienced people are not that easy to find. The very best books train their own in-house, and make sure they are ready before they pick up a phone.
