-Raptors played last night, went to OT...scored only 3 points, may come into this game demoralized.
-Clevland is in a Playoff race & have won 4 in a row.
-Clevland's record on the road is almost identical to Toronto's record at home, they are both terrible.

1% Timberwolves @ trailblazers over 178 total points

was looking at the total for this game earlier & a few factors have cauzed me to pull the trigger. Firt off Zap & Tate have an agreed play on the over...additionally the line has moved to 178 giving us the extra point of value (OLY). The total had initally jumped out at me & with this additional information am willing to play it for 1%.

man, that is pressure, fwiw, although I have always been pretty good at choosing games my failings have been when it comes to things like money management & discipline...

i will bet on the Hawaii bet at midinite just for action...sometimes I cant even name the players on the team...

Posting my best plays here is for me a sort of therapy...

1) I will be able to track over a period of time to see if I should go EXCLUSIVELY with my own plays

2) It makes me accountable for my best bets...

I have made alot of strides in my 'sports investing' career as of late & plan to continue to make strides, it is a difficult game to master & only a few will succeed in the end....

Those that do:

1) exercise sound discipline...
2) do not chase their bets....
3) bet no more than 5% MAX of what they can comfortably afford to lose on any one play...with the vast majority being 1%. Even if you do not have a 'bankroll' per say it is important that you make a fictitious one & decide what the max you can lose is without killing yourself.
4) always shop for the best available line

I will add more later & encourage discussions....

I will try to add more thoughts later, FWIW, I am 31 years old, & have been gambling for 13 years now & am probably only 25% of where I want to be...picking the games isnt really my big problem...heck...with reduced vig you only need to hit 52% or so to break even...It is for me DISCIPLINE, being my big monster with MONEY MANAGEMENT coming in a strong second...

I admit all this to everyone here in the NBA forum as I am here to learn from everyone & share what I have learned in my time in this business...

Clippers @ Spurs 2nd Half

For soem reason I like the Clippers & the under, feelling is with such a lead SA will get bored of this game...aswell as use asmuch shotclock as the slowly take the ball down the court.

3-0 so far in NBA today...& 2-0 in NHL for a perfect 5-0 on my first 6 posted plays, 1 Play pending on Minny over which doesnt look good a the half.

I am gonna add 1 hedge bet, feeling is Minny will come back in this game & score points in the second half...

I am gonna throw 1/4 unit on Minny Over & Minny for the second, but I am not posting em as 'official plays as I will be more than happy with 4-1 tonite.
