YTD 28-28-1 (-.08)
wow, I must admit i am a little surprised that the line has held solid...- x -115 is still available out there for savy shoppers. My only guess for the respect the linesmakers are giving MTL is due to the return of Saku Koivu & the fact that he had 2 points in his return last nite.
Ottawa has been in Montreal since Yesterday morning as a team waiting for Montreal. In my humble opinion they will be a prepared, focused & MOTIVATED bunch tonite when they hit the ice against the Canadiens.
Ottawa has won five of the last six meetings with the Habs, including three of
the four matchups this year. The Senators have also won two straight in
Montreal.
Motivation will be a big factor tonite as Ottawa looks to claim first overall in their division & the league. Ottawa currently sits 1 point ahead of their NEMESIS (best rivalery in sports right now) the Maple Leafs with 1 game in hand. Getting a victory tonite may mean that they will be looking back here on out for the rest of the season. You can be assured that they will not want to squander this opportunity as the Maple leafs lost on their home ice last nite.
Those who know the Ottawa hockey situation, know that about the only contreversy around here surrounds goaltending...# 1 goaltender Patrick Lalime has not been brilliant this year...at this point neither Lalime nor Prusek are assured of getting the starting Nod Come Playoff time...Patrick Lalime will be behinf the pipes for the Senators tonite knowing full well that his position as 'starter for the playoffs' is on the line with every game he plays.
The Canadians in this man's humble opinion have been over-acheiving all year. They are one of my favorite teams but reality must set in to some degree. Additionally the Canadiens played last night in New York & had to Fly back to Montreal so they will be playing Back to back games. Theodore will likely be in fromt of the Cage for the Habs aswell tonite & to me would be the only reason that this game may remain close.
Ottawa is by far the better hockey team in this matchup & -X -115 is not an expensive price to pay.
I have been treading water in Hockey this year with a break even 28-28 record since posting/tracking started at the RX around the allstar break....All plays thus far have been for 1 Unit....(Risking one unit to win potentially more...or risking whatever is needed to win 1 unit)...
Tonite I will be laying:
3.45/3.00 loser -3.45 units
therefore it will count as 3 games...if it wins my record will go to 31-28 or of it loses My record goes to 28-31....Units accordingly aswell of course.
DISCLAIMER: the only sure thing in sports gambling is: "There is no such thing as a sure thing" bet accordingly.
