Check this out, happened to me last night

Dear Customer,

We are hereby informing you that your wager ID 71****** on the Grizzlies/Blazers game has been no actioned due to it being placed past the actual starting time of the game. As per our house rules "All bets must be made and accepted, before the start of the game/event wagered upon. Any bet placed or received after the start of the game/event wagered upon, will be void". This situation is unfortunate, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, the funds have been placed back in your account.

I hope you lost...and they gave you money back, If not I would be pissed. How long after the game started did you place the bet?

No it actually won, and i didnt even know the game started. It was on the board at 10.15 when i placed it , so I figured it was a 10.30 tip off.

Starting time of that game was 9:05 cst which is past start. It should be their responsibility not yours to make sure game is taken off the board. I feel your pain.

There are times when you can get the first team to score after you see who scores and they sometimes take it off and other times they don't. Also during nba allstar weekend they left the prop up for that 3ball thing that Magic, Fisher, and Lisa Leslie won and I bet it after the fact and they took it away. I wish they looked at it as their responsibility if they screw up .

I also had a time that a local took a bet on me for a football game that I didn't know the time had been changed. My team was already down 14 and forced me to pay so I can say that locals and books for the most part will always look after their own interests before putting ethics first!
