Sportingnews Fantasy Basketball

Does anybody play fantasy hoops over there? I have done fantasy baseball and basketball the past 9 seasons at the sportingnews. I think it's one the most unique fantasy leagues around. Very different from the rest, but IMO easily the most challenging. You are given a set amount of money for a beginning roster and your roster value fluctuates sort of like the stock market. To go along with getting points it is also important to make sure your team roster value is increasing so you can buy the more expensive players. Guess it would be easier just to check it out rather than try to explain.

Anyways, the point of this post was to see if anyone plays there and would be interested in joining a league. it's always more fun competing with people you are familiar. I used to have 10 buddies I would do it with year in and year out, but that is no longer the case. Please let me know if your interested as I have set up a league and will pass along with league info.

i would be interested. never done basketball though. only bases and foot. most likely i will get in another basketball one this year, had some friends ask last year and passed.

any fees?

the early bird special is $17.99. Think it's $19.99 regularly so not that big of a difference. it's for the ultimate fantasy basketball. have you used sportingews for your fantasy bases and foots? the only reason i ask is b/c the game is so unique. there is a lot more that goes into it rather then just drafting a team. IMO it is the very best fantasy league you will do hands down! If you are in let me know and I will pass along with league information.

yo man Your the guy im looking for. I got a league started already in sporting news. You need to come over to my league. We will have atleast 10 of my friends in it before it starts so get some of your boys to join as well. Here is my league information.

yea there is alot of cheap guys this year. Who are one of your cheap pick ups that your gonna roll on? I will tell you one of my cheap guys that I think is gonna have a hot start. DeMarcus Nelson and Thaddeus Young are cheapes that I like.

I have been tinkering my lineup with Thadeus Young in and out. Not really a sleeper,but I think Ridinour may be a steal at that price. I think Conley Jr has a big year too and will be on my opening night roster since Memphis has a nice schedule to start
