Sporting News: Lions will finish 3-13 in 2008

Clifton Brown of the Sporting News does not have an optimistic view on how the Lions will fare this upcoming season.
Brown predicts the Lions will win only three games this season.

"The fade at the end of last season is a sign of things to come. Every other team in the division improved; the Lions did not, and it will show on the field. This franchise cannot seem to move forward," Brown wrote.

In 2007, the Lions jumped out of the gate with a 6-2 start, only to win one of their final eight games to finish 7-9.

Detroit Lions (3-13). The fade at the end of last season is a sign of things to come. Every other team in the division improved; the Lions did not, and it will show on the field. This franchise cannot seem to move forward.

Lions suck, I'd say 6-10 tops. Nice pickups of those Tampa defensive players, that's huge.

They don't need Favre either, they have Kitna LMFAO

I see Detroit going 7-9 this year. They have a pretty good team, but that defense will stop them from making a serious run at the playoffs. They should have gone up and got Mayo, but they did get some OL help which was good.

They're an underrated team for sure, but one of my favorite week 1 plays is going to be Atlanta to beat them on opening weekend.
