Okay, here goes, time for another player report/review of a sportsbook that I have recently tried. There is no alterior motives here, simply a reporting of the facts. If there are any other players who have used this Book & would like to add to this thread, wether it be positive or negative please do so. I would ask however that only FIRST HAND player reports remain in this thread…

I opened my account with sportingbet.com about 4 months ago after receiving a recommendation from a friend…They offer a 15% Cash Bonus on your first Deposit (Max Deposit 1000$ I believe) , aswell as a 50% rebate on your first bet win or lose (Max 75$). This was essentially like receiving a 22.5% Cash Bonus which certainly enticed me to open the account. After opening the account however, I never did send an initial deposit, I cannot remember why, I just never did. One day I received an email from the book offering a Whopping 25% Bonus if I was to deposit (Max 1000$ deposit). This was a targeted offer that was sent just to me since I had opened an account but never Funded it. This goes to show it is a good idea to open accounts even if you do not Fund, as you never know what Great Bonuses will appear in your INBOX….This 25% Bonus Coupled with the 75$ rebate on the first Bet meant that I was receiving a WHOPPING 32.5% BONUS (325$)….Fantastic (I believe the rollover is 5X but don’t quote me on that). Sportingbet.com also Offers some Silly Games on their Website like spin the wheel & virtual horseracing….If you play these games for 40$ worth they will give you another 20$ Bonus….Sportingbet.com also has a downloadable Casino….If you Play 100$ worth (or 20 hands of 5$ Blackjack…hint hint…) they give you another 50$ BONUS and Finally Sporitngbet has a POKERROOM. If you download & Play in their pokerroom they give you a 30$ Bonus after 100 raked hands & a 70$ Bonus after 500 raked hands. It is important to note that their Pokerroom has a 10cent/20cent Poker game so it is easy to get 500 raked hands without losing any money if you have half a brain.

***AT THE END OF IT ALL FOLKS I RECEIVED A WHOPPING 49.5% or a MASSIVE 495$ in BONUS MONEY FOR DEPOSITING 1000$***

Now I know some of you are too holy to accept Bonuses (or at least you say you re to be kool on these threads)…however, if offered, I certainly will not turn them down myself.

RELIABILITY:

I figure they are quite a safe book as they are a UK based Book & are a Publically traded Company, frankly, I was never really worried about my money with these guys. They also own Dozens of Gambling Related Websites:

ODDS B-:

They offer standard Odds in most sports, A true Dimeline in Baseball, In running betting in Soccer, nothing that will blow your mind, but good value from time to time with interesting numbetr.

SOFTWARE B+:

Kind of SH itty for sports wagering, you get a betslip & only have the option of ‘amount risked’. When you click on BET if your bet is 500$ or so it takes like 25 seconds or so for it to confirm…..It is almost as if someone on the other end is verifying bets of 500$ or over? Not sure… If you bet less the Bet slip goes through Quickly. SOFTWARE does have many pluses as you can go back & check your history forever….Lots of books only let you go back a Week or so…

LIMITS (no Grade):

Not sure what their limits are, I don’t usually play more than 500$ a game so I was never really affected by that. I only played straight wagers with them so I have no idea about teasers or Parlay odds either.

CUSTOMER SERVICE A+:

It sure is nice to speak to someone in customer service that sounds like the genuinely want to help you, & they speak Perfect English To Boot.

WITHDRAWALS A+:

I called Cx service this morning with a balance of about 3400$ to see if I had met all requirements for a withdrawal. I was advised I had…..THEY OFFER UNLIMITED NETELLER WITHDRAWALS I WAS TOLD. I asked how long it would take should I request…The guy told me It could take 24 Hours to Process. I then Proceeded to request the Withdrawal & the money was in my account in ½ Hour.


BUZZSAW, I was pretty shocked to see this Book get a C- on your website, Am I missing something? Is it due to the Bonus Structure? Can you please come in here & help us too understand, for a publically traded company out of UK with that much Business It is hard for me to imagine that grade from what I have seen?

They take CC's easily and get alot of heat for withdrawl delays because of such. They take security seriously it seems. Not all bad. I think a solid company.

General, as you remember when I first started with the RX it was due to a slowpay with SIA, also becauz of Credit Card Deposits....

I RECOMMEND TO ALL PLAYERS USE NETELLER, Then the BOOKS have no EXCUSE!!! NO DELAYS....

Ever since my Problem with SIA I know only use NETELLER for Deposits with them & have never had a PROBLEM....

It is reasonable I beleive for Customers to excpect certain delays if using Credit Cards as Books are worried about Chargebacks...

This is excellent info, Credit Card Users should be weary or expect delays perhaps....

We have the family of books rated differently based on years of feedback. SportingbetUSA just made it back on the recommended list recently after a 3 year vacation. Sportfanatic is just horrible, a bad apple.

Many, many of the good sportsbook staff in CR at other books cut their teeth first at SBT. They are known for comprehensive training but low pay.

As Buzzsaw points out the level of service differs between them, I am starting to think you didn't play at sportingbet.com but at another sportingbet site.

laker, ur right, 15% seems to be gone, it was there on the 24th of May when I sent the 1K, aswell I got a special email offer for an additional 10% which meant a total of 25%. But on the site today that offer seems to be gone...

additionally, it looks like they have removed the 20$ Bonus for playing their web based games aswell.

best advice I can give u is open an account & hope you get an email offer...I got my offer several months after initially opening my account..

i tried to log into sportingbetusa.com with my sportingbet.com account # but it didnt work...

I then asked Customer Service & was told they were sister companies but other than that not related...even different call centres & linesmakers....

cool Sports. Very nice deal you got. www.sportingbet.com customer service is (or at least was) quite a bit better than the rest of the group. They were the first sportsbook I evered played at online. Back in 1998.

I use sportingbetusa for years. they are reliable and pay quickly. i think there lines are a tad high at times but if you are taking points you migh find it interesting. they have lots of funny promotions. every sunday you get a free$10.00 bet either win 10 or get your money back. its usually a prop this week its will a-rod score a run sunday. duringthe basket season they have a game on wedn that if you win your bet you are part of a 5000 pool dividedby all winners its usually good for 15-20. it sort of adds up.
i do play blackjack there and am not comfortable to many 4 to 6 card 21 for the house. basically there comfortable and for east coast guys the lines are up early money lines only baseball early.

SS, the 25% offer was likely mailed to all N. American customers. I had a balance at the time and got the offer on May 21 for funding by NETeller, Moneybookers or FirePay. The turnover is 3X.

This book also gives $25 for reporting bad lines, I remember one where team+1.5 was a higher payout than team.

Whenever I have had to phone with some issue I had always received competent, courteous service, although late at night Pacific time you get the overnight shift in Ireland who are very pleasant but don't seem to have access to the computer files.

One thing I forgot to mention in my report, they are not the quickest at grading wagers...& forget about the late games being graded till morning for those who are ANAL like me & want to see the correct balance in the system before bedtime...lol

SS, you must read my mind! I was just going to add a postscript that in common with several European books mid to late baseball games don't get graded until the next day. If they do it around 9-11 am GMT then that's 1-3 am Pacific.

Sportingbet owns all of those books listed, however each of those books has its own management, customer service etc. So to downgrade sportingbet over one of the other books they own isn't right in my opinion as each book they have should be graded.
