Anyone else notice certain posters spamming the front page with non-gambling related cut and paste jobs from yahoo.sports? Can't we start a Sports Forum or something?

lol wilhelm - trust me, i do NOT open your threads...don't have time...but it makes it hard to find new gambling related threads when the entire front page is all spam (and i don't mean to imply it is only you)

I post some general-sports messages.

But it is a double-edged sword. Some of the threads on the Offshore page might be off-topic, but they also promote discussion and give people a reason to check the Offshore page on a consistent basis (overall, I think that is good for The Rx).

This thread is a copy of a thread from 3 days ago. I answered there about how the Offshore Forum has evovled lately. Quite frankly I suggested separate forums a long time ago, but many felt the current mixed topic scenario was acceptable, which it seems to be the case with most posters.

MVB - I actually thought of that thread. Anyway ID is right about one thing - it is not easy to post thought provoking materiel thread after thread. I try my best to post things that maybe SOME will find of interest. On one hand trying to at least keep within the world of sports (if not gambling) while trying to spark some kind of interest is never easy. A good example will be this thread, which promises to get more responses than anything posted about sports today. Go figure.
