Since I doubt anyone except for myself and a few others believes Oregon even the slightest chance of winning Saturdays' game, would you please post your prediction of either So Cal margin of victory and/or both final score.

My prediction: USC wins 34-28

This line is now over 3td most shops........Oregon is the play as big home doggie!

Not saying Oregon isn't the right play... I took Arkansas last weekend but it will be hard to pull the trigger again... anyhow, my question is what caused the line change early? I can see the sharps possible liking Oregon but why take that pick early when, I assuming, once the public catches up to the line it is going start moving in the other direction...

its probably -120 or so USC breaks 60. I'm going to say 58-21. Thats USC 58-21 to avoid the confusion. Oregon doesn't have the defensive bodies to play anyone one on one. These D backs, not bad, but their short. Whats freaking jarret 6' 5" or something. Glad I didn't wait to long on Sunday, grabbed some - 19 1/2 and 20, even though that will be covered late 1st or early 2nd :chest:

As long as it's 20 or more, I'll be happy.

The public is so infatuated

with the USC Trojans, especially after last week's brutal whupping of Arkansas.

However, it should be noted that USC has a lot of new faces _ especially on defense (compounded by recent injuries) _ and has essentially not played a road game unless you count the opening weekend scrimmage/tropical vacation to Hawaii.

Autzen will be rocking Saturday and just cannot see taking anybody but Oregon in such a spot at such an inflated number.

Sounds somewhat contrary, but I'll be sitting on the porch, barking with the Ducks in this one.

Might even take a small money-line shot on the Ducks.

Good luck,
Paul

I am on the ducks as well. Destroying the #111and #112 rated defenses in the ncaa does not impress me, espeically when both Ark and haw both have new QBs. I think USC's team last year was better and on the road in the Pac ten they won by 3,8,32, and 5. They may drill the ducks, but I will take my chances with an experienced QB playing at home carrying a 21 point lead to start the game.

Fresno State just scored 34 on Oregon last week. Fresno State does not have one starter on offense that would be a second stringer on USC. USC's receivers vs. Oregon corners is a huge mismatch. USC's TE and RB Combo vs. Oregon's linebackers is a huge mismatch. The only way USC's offense doesn't score in the 50's is if USC's offense isn't clicking.

Oregon 31......no pac 10 team has ever waltzed through the conference covering every number...Oregons spread offense will control the tempo against USC's depleted secondary and untested front......this matchup reminds me of cal vs sc last year...except Clemens has healthy receiving corps and will have homefield....SC will prevail but not cover only because of their special team play.

Hopefully all you guys that "know" So Cal is going to score 80 points this week are playing tons of cash on the total going OVER.

Someone should call the Oregon coaches and players and tell them to skip practice this week and stay in bed Saturday since this game has already been decided.

I believe the Oregon offense will keep Leinhart and Bush on the sideline, so So Cal will not score tons of points.

Anyway, good thread guys and thanks for adding your thoughts...regardless of agreement.

USC...56

Oregon...21

Cant lay that munch wood on the road here but i think that USC offense scores at will on this bunch. Not sure if Oregon can hold up thier end of the scoreing in this matchup. Yes i know the hoome dog theroy in the conference matchups but this USC team just seem to score at will on most folks. Nothing new comeing up about that here either.

Dawoof...you are correct, oregon should have some sustained drives. However, USC scores FAST. Oregon also scores fast. I don't think they have the running game to grind out long drives, but they do mix in the run well.

I believe USC defense is a bit thin in LB and secondary. Added more to original play....got +22 today.

If USC had not destroyed a VERY weak Arkansas defense last week on national TV when there was no other national TV game on, this line would not be this high. It's hard not to take these points because this line is inflated for sure. USC may very well come out and blow the doors off of Oregon but this line should be around -14 IMO.

USC 38 Oregon 24

i look for s.c to cover but in a real high scoring game (again)..saw both games previously and there d is suspect. hawaii had the ball the whole 1st quarter, and arkansas moved it just couldn't cash. down the road, if s.c doesn't toughen up on d, they might slip, but not this week
