South Florida vs Temple on 01/25 by Jay_Robinson

It’s amazing how USF has the Over at 15-5 this year. They’re an average team at both ends of the floor, running at a medium pace, but they do have a tendency to let opponents march to the charity stripe; the Bulls allow 21.5 free throws per game, which ranks No. 330 in Division I.

Wouldn’t you know it, Temple (Under 12-8-1) provide one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the nation at 77.9%, or No. 14 overall. The Owls are a bit better at defense than offense, and a bit slower than South Florida, but they’ll be riding high after upsetting the former No. 1 Houston Cougars this past Sunday, thanks to their 20-of-22 shooting on freebies.
