well,a friend i trust just saw the first harris/urkal fight at maxboxing and thought that harris won easily....
"MaxBoxing is showing the first Harris-Urkal fight. It's hard to feel too strongly about watching something in a 3-inch window with bad sound, but from what I saw, Harris won the bout quite comfortably (116-110). It was competitive, but the basic pattern was Urkal bouncing all over the place out of range and then getting speared with the jab every time he would try to cross the moat. Occasionally he would make it inside, at which point both fighters would flail away without landing much cleanly. Neither fighter showed much power and neither fighter was ever hurt (aside from Urkal's acting jobs on the 3 occasions he was hit on the beltline). I'm surprised that Urkal had the stamina to expend energy so inefficiently for all 12 rounds, but I think some people might have confused this with him outworking Harris, who was very relaxed. For the rematch, I see more of the same. Harris' height and straighter punches give him an edge in every round and Urkal doesn't have the power to make up for it."
so,not seeing the first bout myself, and on the heels of forcing my little 1/4 unit parlay to win 1/2 unit on m`baye and stiff michael warrick,i`m not fooling with harris/urkal..that`s what i get for craving action...without solid info to back it up......don`t want to start the frickin` thing rolling in the wrong direction....to many good bouts coming up in november...
i should never have bet(little bets)the ufc...i just haven`t seen and read enough to make intelligent decisions on it.....
have to show some discretion...
