all this talk about how OU faced better offenses than what florida is ranked. uhm... those high powered offenses that they faced were big 12 losers!!! duh... if no one plays defense, OF COURSE they are going to score tons of points. so then someone bring up the TCU thing, how good their D is. ranked higher than florida. hmmm... didn't know that TCU played in the SEC!!! wtf? TCU? c'mon, give me a break. you think TCU would have had that great of a record or defensive rank if they played in the big 10, big east, sec, big 12, or acc? doubt it. tcu doesn't match up all that well. sure utah blasted alabama and tcu barely lost to utah. whatever... florida played the better competition all year long and they will stomp the sooners. heisman winner always loses the game. #2 team beats the #1 team in recent history. take the winner, go with the gators. oh, did i forget to mention that urban meyer is PHENOMINAL when he has time to prepare for a game??? look it up. he wins all the championship games. florida wins this one easily.

I'm sure facing offensive powerhouses like Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Tennessee has Florida ready for OU's offense.

For the last third or so of the season I maintained that the SEC has one very good team, Florida, and two pretty good teams, Ole Miss and Alabama. After seeing how they never managed to even against a Mountain West team I'm not sure I include 'Bama in that statement anymore.

The ONLY reason Sooners have a chance is because VEGAS usually doesn't lose to 90% of the public. Can somebody show us the % of betters on Oklahoma? It can't be more than 1% if you don't count Sooner fans.

To me, Vegas just doesn't lose these types of games. The line looks like it opened around 1-2 and now it's 5. People keep betting Florida. I think Florida has played in bigger games. Fl is on a mission. Fl has a better coach. Fl has a better defense. I do like Oklahoma offense but that Big 12 looks like dog sheeeet. Every defense in that conf gives up thousands of points.

I still have to bet because it's a big game and bet Florida early at -3 even. I knew it wasn't going under so bet it early.

Good luck to all of you who bet on my side.

Line opened at 3 and stayed there for a month.

It's only gone up after seeing the big 12 look like garabge in the bowl games, and the SEC - bama look great.

Very good points. The more you look at it, the more it seems that Florida's schedule is the one that should be in question, not Oklahoma's.

Oklahoma has played TCU, which has a better defense than Florida no question.

Only good offenses Florida has played is maybe Georgia, and Ole Miss

Well even though I truly believethat this is a 'stupid' thread typed and posted by a 'stupid' kid, I will agree with you that Florida is truly a 'stupid' LOCK!!! :nohead:

TCU's defense is better than UF's? I think you might be retarded. TCU's secondary is complete crap.

Scoring 45 ppg in the SEC is much more impressive to me than scoring 54 in the Big 12.

Look at what OSU did to Texas. That convinced me to go Florida more than anything.

Statistically, TCU's D is clearly better than UF. Florida is going to give up a lot of points tonight. I like Florida to win but I bet Ok wouldn't score 25 vs. USC and USC would score 40 plus on either.

Funny those idiot Trojans have to F up the Rose Bowl for us as they play a crap team every year and then they watch the Title game while they sit on their azzez

i think TCU is one of the best teams in the country actually and OU ripped them apart in the 1st 20minutes and put it on cruise control...that was one of the most impressive wins of the year IMO....its obvious the game has to be played out on the field tonight but i take more away from that OU win than any win by the gators...yet it seems everyone is saying how fast the gators d is and how OU hasnt faced anything like the gators etc....

Vegas pays. Philly was at an almost 80% clip last week and the Eagles trounced. A few years ago, when GB was at Oakland for a Monday night, Favre's dad died over the weekend and GB got hammered to 86%. GB rolled OAK and GB-5 was a joke.

I'm sure there's been other instances of large disparities having gone the public's way. I know it don't happen much but it does happen. With that said, I already have a substantial amount of money @ -3.5. I'm still wondering what to do with the current #.

look here folks, here is the truth. vegas can and DOES lose these types of games. look at this bowl season where the lines have moved by significant points. vegas got killed. tc-who? you think they'd have just 1 loss if they played in the SEC or big 12? yes, oklahoma killed tcu. that's my point exactly. tcu ain't that good people!!! tcu didn't even win the mountain west!!! not even the best team in their own conference!!! cincy? hawaii almost beat them fools. vtech pounced cincy. oklahoma has a good passing offense. that's it. period. end of story. shut down the pass and OU is done. stick a fork in them. florida has a dynamic offense. they run just as well as they pass. percy harvin makes florida that much more explosive on offense.

The more I look at it, and I've looked at the game, the highlights on espn, on foxsports, on the local news it still reads UF 24 OU 14. Is this wrong? Did they lie to the National Public???

Very good points. The more you look at it, the more it seems that Florida's schedule is the one that should be in question, not Oklahoma's.
