I like two off the Don Best rotation this week:

Tournament Matchups
Shigeki Maruyama +109 over Jim Furyk (laying 1 to win 1.09 units)
--This is a course Maryuama (I am probably butchering his name) has played more consistently than Furyk in the past. The line moved way off the opener, and I should have grabbed him when he was +135. But still good value because Shigeki should be the favorite.

Jerry Kelly -120 over Robert Allenby (laying 1.8 units to win 1.5 units)
-- JK is a consistent Top 10 finisher at this tournament, while Allenby has one Top 10 in the last five years. Kelly has far better finishes on this course.

Careful with Furyk. He has won 3 times in Hawaii, including once at Wailae. He has a house on the course they play the Mercedes on and loves to putt on Bermuda. All that being said Jim has not played real well since his wrist operation and has not been as good at Wailae since they lengthened the course the year after Houston tore it up.

Yes, Furyk does live in Hawaii, but Maruyama is much more consistent on this course last 5 years. I'll take him as an underdog because I believe he should be at least a -120 to -125 favorite. Thanks for the info, though.

Peter Jacobsen +300 over Sluman/Lehman (bet365) 1 unit to win 3 units
-- I actually make Sluman the favorite in this group, but at these odds I'll take a shot on Jacobsen. Peter played well after coming back from injury at the end of last year and has played this course well during the first two days of the tournament last 5 times he has played in it. He has 5 straight under par opening rounds here. I figure all three to have about an equal shot here, so I'll glady take the +300 on Jacobsen.
