She should have mobilized the Guard imemdiately after the storm instead of crying on TV and doing nothing, waiting for the federal government to save her. Louisiana governor was asked by the feds on Friday to give up the local and state attempts to rescue the citizens of a city whom the Mayor let die.

Amazing that since Friday the Feds have made a great deal of progress.

Bush is doing a damn good job.

FEMA director is an intellectual though and refuses to call out the inept mayor of that city and governer of that state.

The anger of the libs will be short lived once the truth gets out. Embarrasment and shame will set in shortly.

Patriot, the city itself and the sstate were the ones who were devastated in enormous proportions. And you want them to be able to handle a response of this magnitude. It doesn't take a genius to see from the very start that they needed help in a big way. That they needed the kind of help that only the fed govt could provide. And as we now see such help WAS requested before the storm hit.
