Line opened Chicago -1 and since has been bet up to Packers -1 1/2. I'm a Packer fan but was expecting to get 3 points. Do the sharps just expect the Packers to rise to the occasion since they are 1-2?

I would guess it has to do with the Bears secondary that is dropping like flies. Got an injury report on who's in or out this week?

Can't see it. Packers o-line is horrible. Bears have already been played by me

The perception is the Bears won their last 2 games via turnovers and good fortune, are totally beat up, and GB is desperate. Not playing the game but I agree with the perception.

Exactly. Bears aren't that good. A lot of luck recently as well as injuries. GB should win.

Because the public has made them the favorites with their betting.

Let's not forget this Bears team had the Packers beat last year with a much worse defense if they could've made one 4th down stop. This Bears secondary is in shambles but they are making way fewer mental errors out there and Kyle Fuller looks like he is going to be a perennial all-pro in the future.

Theres no way this line should ever get to Bears +3 and if it does we should all hammer it. As it stands this really is a coin flip game where whoever makes the fewest mistakes wins.

I follow the NFC North extensively, the Packers and Aaron Rodgers are a public darling, they have been for years now. The thought process is, "No way they will go 1-3." Have you heard that before? The public seen last Monday Night that the Jets could easily move the ball on what I think is a bottom 3 defense in the NFL. The Bears have played 3 QBS who do not pass the ball well and let's face it, Geno Smith and the Horrible Officiating gift wrapped the game Monday Night just like Kap did the Sunday before. I do not want to knock the Bears too much as I will be pulling for them since most of my buddies are die hards who still believe the Super Bowl is with in reach.

This is not going to be a good season for Green Bay, they have a below average roster with one hell of a quarterback. Many accuse me of being a hater and then will compare my Vikings to the Packers, people can compare them all they want but the Packers were a Super Bowl winner and have steadily declined the past 3 years. Why? Ted Thompson! Yes they won a Super Bow under his regime but that was a season where the NFL was mediocre and Rodgers got hot. Not to take it away from the Pack, Thompson wants to build a team strictly from the draft, well they have had 3 bad drafts in a row and this year could be a 4th. You can't continue to draft badly and not sign players and expect to be dominant even if you do have the best passer in the NFL. The PUBLIC hasn't caught on to this yet. They have a BAD roster, take a look at the past drafts and the evidence is all there.

I would step out with the Bears this game but their defense is preventing me. I have written up the first 3 games at another site about why the Pack would not cover and received nothing but criticism and Viking bashing while I collect from the man. Next week could be a big play. If the Vikes catch 7 or more next Thursday it will be an easy pick for me

I think this is a game where both teams need to get their run games going AND look at the opposing defense as soft against the run. Neither team really WANTS to run but they both are becoming dangerously one dimensional in play calling. I think an UNDER play is the way to go for this game as both teams run that clock.

I think the Packers decline has more to do with Joe Philbin leaving after 2011, they have declined offensively every year since. I wish they could get him back as the OC, Miami may make that happen :>

When a team like the current Pack declines, it always takes some time till the line catches up with them.
