someone please explain 2nd half lines to me...

denver was -5.5 for the game, is winning big right now and is now +2 for the 2nd half? how is this # decided? seems denver would be a good play here.

To even it out towards the original spread. Odd's are Montana will play better in the 2nd half than they did in the 1st and vise versa.

If I had denver -5.5 for the game and they are up 14 at half I would sometimes be inclined to bet montana at -2 and try and middle. Denver -2 would not be the play because then you are basically getting them at -12 for the game which is no where near the original line. Just my 2cents

was just coming back here to say that. You can sometimes find great value in second half lines

and you dont always need to go opposite who you first liked...for example I picked south carolina -7 for the game tonight(its posted in my thread) and at half they were up 2. Halftime line was -4 so i was then getting them -6 for the game and hopped on board hoping my original bet and analysis was correct
