The -5 has to be because of the South Carolina game, if you ask me there was no motivation. Same thing against uofl when they only won by 3. If you look at the games where they played better teams during prime time they took care of business. UNC is really damn good, and has a ton of momentum. I don't think Vegas looked at the entire season here, but just the last couple. Both teams are 0-0 now and will be playing their best. I think UNC is a great 1H bet, and Clemson holds em off by 10 points in the second half. Goodluck
N Carolina has been feasting on a weak conference schedule. While Clemson has benefited from that same conference schedule, they have beaten ND and FSU. Just my opinion but I think this one won't be close. Plus, does the ACC really want Clemson to lose? Do you realize how much money it will cost the conference if they don't make the playoff?
Good thread. I guess Clemson could easily have two losses that come to mind. But, they don't and are the #1 ranked team. With that said I can't really give any good reasons for either side. That is why I think it will be close one way or another. NC ML would stand a nice shot at hitting or teasing NC up to 11 with another game that you might like.
Clemson grad and fan. I would probably take Unc before I took Clemson; HOWEVER, I do think Clemson wins. I just think it will be a back and forth affair. Over may be the best play. Although I think Clemson's recipe for a win is to hammer the ball with Gallman, Fuller, Watson, and Scott. Win the time of possession and keep Unc offense off the field. Clemson's safeties and linebackers will get beat in pass coverage over the middle. It's important to not worry about the big play because Unc will have some. Clemson could answer but I would rather they prioritize not turning it over and just keep pounding the ball and wear down Chizik's "defense" and run run run until they want no part of it anymore. Just my two cents: see a 42-37 kinda of game honestly.
