I know, Famous last words but the Pac 10 had great matchups in the first round. All of them.
Here is the deal. Ucla is not good. They don't have the players for a great defense and offensively they don't have one player on the team at SF, PF or Center that can score in the paint.
No PF or C??? This is actually Bens best job of coaching but the end of the road is tomorrow. DC is still hurt. Aboya, our only big man, broke his finger in the 2nd half.
if Ucla beats Vill then Nova is not a good team. Nova, at home, should beat Ucla by 12 or more. People think Ucla is good because they are Ucla. They are not that good.
My only thing is I have not watched much of Nova this year.

sthis is a classic case of the book trying to get folks to play on UCLA. trust me.
If they had the line at say -6 Nova...folks would agree the myth of UCLA is over and continue to dump money on nova....they would have to give almost 10 for folks to jump on UCLA and that may be the point of return there...
But you put it at -2 and folks all think UCLA and their 4 final four performances have this great chance to beat a team that is:
Far superior at the Guard play
Far superior at the transition play
Far superior at the inside play now that LOVE LEFT
Far superior at just about every energy level...
So they dump it at +2 for UCLA and everyone jumps on it
Nova is a home and the crazies are going to come out in droves...the BIG EAST was far superior to any conference especially the PAC 10 garbage you saw this year...Nova was in the top teams of the BIG EAST all year and just because they took off the first half of the first round game against some toilet team....doesn't mean anything....they ran the same team out of the gym by almost 20 in the second half of that very game and won by like 8 going away...
Folks..UCLA has no inside game and because of that NOVA will extend their D out to the 3 line and take away any chance UCLA has to set up one of their SLOW moving half court plays that sets up some set shot shooter from beyond....
Nova wins this game by 12-14 ....believe me....the pt setters know what they are doing...

You're right. LVSC has UCLA ranked ahead of Nova in their power rankings, which by the way are the most accurate rankings out there.
Why is the perception that Nova is this juggernaut of a CBB team and UCLA is terrible. Doesn't UCLA still have several seniors on the team who have been to final four 3 times? They are not a MUCH different team as I've seen one person say. How many times has Nova had a better team than they do this year and got knocked out early? Nova is good, but they lack inside presence and don't have an inside/outside game.
seen nova multiple times......disrespected big east team.... now i dont think much of the cuse defense but seriously there are 5 scorers on this team they layed over 100 with ease, if uclas guys get in any foul trouble its lights out, better scoring team and home team only laying 2.5, seems the way to go to me
