Survey of 1,000 Adults

August 17-18, 2005

August 19, 2005--Cindy Sheehan, the grieving mother who maintained an anti-War protest outside of President Bush's ranch, is viewed favorably by 35% of Americans and unfavorably by 38%.

The telephone survey of 1,500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports August 12-14, 2005. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. 37% of survey respondents were Republican, 37% Democrat, and 26% unaffiliated

Looks like 27% of respondents had no opinion or what? Not to mention your slim 3% edge of unfavorable falls within the sampling error. I'm sure your trying to make hay for the right, I just don't see it.
It also would be informative to know the exact question asked. As you know the way questions are framed has a large bearing on the outcome of polls.

what poll numbers do you think are more important....cindy's or george's....

W. doesn't pay attention to polls anyway.

Besides his poll numbers don't matter to him any longer. They may matter to the Party, but Dems are so pathetic, even if the Presidents numbers are down theirs are also.

i doubt W has the attention span to "pay attention" to much of anything....

Her poll #s are just as I expected, they go along with the general public #s. 1/3 will hate Bush, 1/3 will love Bush and 1/3 will change their opinion from time to time.
