Trying to determine if you are a "good" poker player is difficult, I believe.

So, out of 320 games that I have played, I have seen 46% of the flops in my games, and I have won 40%........is that a decent % win on flops?

Yeah, bodog keeps the stats for you. I am very selective when i play, but most the time, very agressive.......although i have taken a few bad beats over the last couple of days.

seeing 46% of the flops in a full game is way way way too much...if you are trying to play good and make money the number should be somewhere around 20% or less.....that means you are involved in every other hand.....that is way too many hands.

Very small sample size, but as Bozzi said if that's for full ring games you're a fish who's been lucky

Winning 40% is good, playing 46% of your starting hands is not. If those stats are accurate you have a very loose game.

If you were really playing only top 10 starting hands the card distribution is severely skewed in your favor.

I agree...#1 thing pokers players do is play WAY to many cards..fold alot more..be very patient

If Bodog is counting your big blinds as flops seen that means you are voluntarily playing in about 36%. I'd try to work that down by about 16-20 points if I were you. Here are a couple of suggestions:

Dump the small blind unless you'd play it for a full bet in early position. A lot of money is wasted by people who think, "It's only half a bet." Play only the very best unsuited cards. My list is really short. Don't play small pairs unless there are already some people who have limped in. Tighten up to the point of strangulation in early position.

Is this a full ring game? As others have said, for a full table game that is too high of a % of flops seen. Aim for under 30%. For short handed play, it is still too high, but the number should be higher than a full table game.

this is strictly Ring games. Most the time I only play 7,7 and higher, and AK, and AQ. Again, a very small sample.
