Some Movies I download have NO SOUND: HELP!

Hey guys, a few of these movies I have downloaded off bit torrent come in great but have no sound when I play them. When the video pops up quicktime says I am missing some components and directs me to this page...

I have downloaded the latest QuickTime, Divx, and Xvid Codec, yet a few of my movies still have no sound. Is there something I have to do once I download these codecs or should they start working automatically? Any suggestions on what to do?

Download and install one of the codec packs from http://www.free-codecs.com/

Oh, those codecs are for Windows.

Use VLC instead of QuickTime:

A lot of my downloaded movies work better if I just make the sound myself.

"Oh Steve, YEAH...You are so BIG and HOT..." repeated in a female voice like a mantra for 3.5 minutes usually gets me over the top.

Maybe you forgot to turn your speakers on...
