Some early WNBA

Don't post many picks, but I figured what the hell today.

Seattle +5 1/2 (OLY)

Seattle/LA UNDER 145 (CRIS) (opened at 146 which I alrady grabbed. 145 is still way too high IMO. I don't think this number will last either. A strong play for me.)

Leaning to SAC -2 1/2, waiting to see where the line goes. If it goes up, I'd grab SAC at -2 1/2

Lean to WASH +5 1/2, but no play.

Lean to Minny, but +3 not enough points. We'll see if the line goes up!

Also I have the Minny/Indy total pegged for higher. It opened at 133, but dropped sharply to 130. If it continues to drop, I may throw that in there as well.

I figured I'd add this now since EGD agrees with this pick and I was leaning strongly towards playing it anyways!

And one more...Detroit -4 (OLY). Line has gone down as low as it will. I had a lean towards Wash, but the more I looked at the game the more I liked the Detroit side.

Sucks that the Seattle/LA total is moving upwards. That doesn't bode well for my "strong" play. But we'll see I guess. I'm loving the Seattle +5 1/2 right now though!

Wow. I can't believe that Detroit is getting beat this bad, this soon into the game, and at home.

0-3 ATS last 3 games. Looks like we're gonna make that 0-4.

Ouch. Detroit does not respond AT ALL.

And I'd need an OT in Minny/Indy to get over the total. A very dissapointing start to the WNBA day.

I hope the late plays pick it up.

OK, I'm out for the night. If anyone actually followed today, I'm sorry and I hope the last 3 plays sweep out while I'm gone!

That'll teach me to post plays. Of course, one of the worst days I've had so far in this WNBA season WOULD be the one that I put pen to paper at the RX...

Looks like only my "strong" play survived. 1-4 on the night.

And I could make a decent case for every team/total I picked. Detroit getting manhandled so easily and so quickly at home was a suprise. It leads me to seriously doubt this team's heart, and this is a game one needs to remember how they responded when they are in a similar situation in the future. Sac has a great homecourt so far this year, but it looks like they folded down the stretch in the 2nd half, another suprise. And I guess Seattle just has a problem with playing LA...My opinion of Seattle is on a steady decline. A top 5 team, but probably not number 1...
