soggy saturday at anita

small carryover in the pick-6 at 'anita today, but with nor turf racing anytime in the near future, we'll make the best of the soupy conditions. there are a ton of scratches and quite frankly, it's a depressing card for a saturday.


r2: Royal Classic. love the two sprint stretchout angle and this gelding by sky classic should love routing and love the slop.


r3: nossenko. like this one a little bit coming out of a comeback race that was too poor to believe.

r6: wannawinemall. another race decimated by scratches, but i'm going to back the firster from the mulhall barn who should like the mud and only really has the favorite to beat, mysto's.

r7: jungle prince. i really like sir cat offspring on the off going and while he's outmatched on speed figures, i think he'll run well at a big big price.

r8: congrats. looks like a standout in this field outside of the favorite, who is returning from a race far far away, and congrats should be somewhere in the 3/1 range.

good luck out there and if anyone has an interesting play from a place where the fields are full, i'm all ears....

will have to go against the master and take formal attire in the 8th...trainer switch...2nd race back...blah blah blah..think he'll outrun his odds..although w/a couple not running..gonna drop his price.

Congrats - looks good , has a 438 Tomlinson number and has shown he handles wet tracks. Toss his last wide effort, he needs to sit about 3rd, not chase the speed and hope the track doesn't have a speed bias. Excessivepleasure - 2nd race back, bred to handle slop - a 388 Tomlinson, has a ton of speed, but have a feeling someone will kamikaze him. Hot jock and trainer but not thrilled with his last race
Lundy's Liability - will he let Excessive get clear? Can't see Flores giving up the rail but then again DF is 1 for 35 at the meet.
Formal Attire - Big question mark for me, guessing he will be pressing the 3 on the lead but he can also sit off the pace

I'm gonna box the 7-3 big, the 7-1 and 7-5 small and then bet the 7 to win.

Tossing Total Impact, everything about him looks negative to me today

Lundy's scratched - I guess that means Formal Attire will be pressing the lead. I see it lining up 3-5-1-7, I think Excessivepleasure could get clear, Formal Attire will get tired chasing, Total Impact will give up early and hopefully Congrats will not be stuck wide and will be the only one closing in the stretch.
