The exact quote was "Defenders" of the US Constitution "against the US Consititution and the UN". And all of the groups listed have advocated or resorted to violence to achieve their aims.

The US Govt would be derelict in its duties (defending the US from all enemies foreign OR DOMESTIC) if it did not keep an eye on these nutcases.
