Do you think they should give you a freeplay or some type of reward for helping them out?

The other day a book left a fight up with over fifteen prop bets on it and I made them aware. Was lucky to get a thank you out of them.

Some of these fuckin managers just think that their shit doesn't stink.

I don't think I deserve anything. Never expected anything when helping out with corrections. If an old lady drops her purse and doesn't notice and I pick it up and give it back to her then I don't want her to give me cash. I don't think people should expect something extra for being nice. Just my thoughts.

Everytime I've notified a book about a bad line I've received a bonus. On a recent Sunday during the NHL playoffs book had a hockey line up with a start time of 1:00 pm est. Game started at 12:30 pm est. Lines were still up at 12:45 pm. I called to notify them the game started. Book was very grateful and gave me a $50 freeplay.

as a player, i expect nothing. always pays to be honest....
when i managed a book, and a client informed me
of a bad number, i let him make his usual bet as a thank
you for informing me--up to a point. a big player, he could bet 1000--if a sharp guy was playing, and he told me ,fuck him, no favors for sharpies
i had philosophy any gift or bonus to a player was a loan, he would
lose it back sooner or later, so why not apply some good will

Either you report it or not. I think it's good to report it. They ain't honoring it.

why do their work for them if they don't reward the player with a small token freeplay?

i understand what your saying i don't bet obvious bad lines either but i'm surely not going to waste my time doing their job.

Give me like a $15 token at least, or I won't bother to report it, unless I want to bet it !

5D is the worst for rewarding you, Greek is good.

BINGO !

I can understand a 5D linesman not wanting to tell Tony.... " Hey I fucked up this line".... Doug reported it, can we give him $20 ?

I guess Tony prefers to piss off customers that might, perhaps, maybe bet into it innocently ?

I neither tell them, or bet it. I need a free cookie, to call them. :):)

The class books give Bonus Plays and are grateful that you call them and let them know....

It seems that 5 Dimes needs a little humility...

5dimes has given me "juice free" bets in the past for reporting a bad line. Honestly I think it's fair, if they give Bonus Plays they are going to get every damn bonus whore trying to report bad lines/errors every day.

Do I look for a reward, no..,feel it's owed. Depends I guess on the error, potential cost and my experience with the book. I've been a customer for years and bet daily with you, then a case can be made for customer service.

Some guys in this industry just get it when it comes to customer service...Scotty/Herman at betjm get it, ricard at Phoenix gets it..can't remember the casino mgrs name at bookmaker off the top of my head but he seems to get it. All have been good to me in the past. Can't think of the head cs clerk at legendz but she is good to. Play with the people who treat you right and generally they will reward you in the event you report a bad line.

Tony @ 5dimes on my experience is fair and knows his shit. A bit old school in the way he will put things to you, but I haven't experienced any probs. Fast payouts, reduced juice and solid as they come. Heard issues with their facilities being kinda out dated and the assistant mgmt is a little less helpful but I'll keep playing there to they do me wrong. One last comment on them, if they makes mistake, they will make it right. Was told they would do a free mg payout monthly, I knew this was wrong so o called back..mgmt thanked and honored a free mg even though they didn't need to.

agree, but Tony isn't humble...calls himself GOD !

a book should want the line corrected.

I have no reason not to trust 5D, though.

IMO, they are #2 behind MB.

what is it with people feeling they are 'owed' something? I hate that mentality.

we don't but i'm sure as hell not going to do their job for them.

i'm just telling the OP not to waste his time reporting the line.

these books are not little old ladies dropping purses and you being a nice person and picking it up for them.
