I am one of those undecided voters who is not at all impressed with either major party candidate, so I am also considering the 3rd party candidates. For the record, I am voting against every incumbent local/congressional candidate on my ballot b/c they have allowed this country to be drivent into the sh!tter.
Here are my views/thoughts:
John McCain / Sarah Palin--I cannot vote for him knowing that she would be next in line. The woman is as dumb as a box of rocks.
Barack Obama / Joe Biden--I cannot vote for Obama knowing that he wants to increase my taxes.
Personally I believe:
1) Less government intervention/regulation
2) Abortion--Pro Choice (although I don't advocate abortion as a birth control method)
3) Legalized internet gambling
4) Gay marriage--Hey, if homosexuals are dumb enough to get married, let 'em, but don't say I didn't warn you.
5) Right to bear arms (although I don't advocate the use of guns unless your life, family, or home is threatened).
6) Ending the war (or military agression) in Iraq
7) George Bush is the worst President of my lifetime, including Jimmy Carter.
8) Personal responsibility--those that over-extended themselves and cannot pay their mortgages should be sh!t out of luck and deal with it. You bought it and can't pay for it, too bad, it should go to the bank.
As George Carlin said:
"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain. Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for that these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created."
