BCR informed us that as of June 15th they will not be providing MoneyGram services until further notice. Any thoughts on this?

Speaking of Money Grams and Western Union....

There used to be one or more third-party processors that would receive and send on your behalf. They had an online website where you could generate the sending instructions for the sender, see incoming receipts, and send outgoing. Incoming showed up in about 5-10 minutes after they were sent; with a bit a programming you could automate WU deposits to be credited near instantly.

Does anything like that still exist? They obviously had no public website announcing their service, the sportsbook I knew using them circa 2001-2002 no longer exists.

PM me of course.

Thanks guys, that is the exact company I had remembered. Starts with a "D" and sounds like a popular payment system.

BAC does MG too. But I'll never use them again. Had a Moneygram sent to my wife, they didn't want to allow her to pick it up, because some security features on Costa Rican cedulas are apparently defective and rub off. This despite the fact she has had a very active account there for several years, and has visited that branch frequently.
