Today, I'm a former UFC Heavyweight champ and wanted to go out and teach an ex-boxer how tough MMA guys are. Turn out it wasn't my night, FML.

Same thing is going to happen to Silva when and if he ever fights Roy Jones. When it comes to stand up MMA guys don't have shit on boxers.

Tim Sylvia has definitely lost a step. That chin of his has been wrecked it appears. Also, what the hell was he thinking? Since when is it a good idea to sit in the pocket and not throw anything against a guy who only has standup?

Attencio claimed because it was to close.

Sylvia could have fought. Truth is they don't want to have to pay him.

Engorged former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia showed up for a fight in Birmingham, Ala., Saturday against lumbering 48-year-old ex-heavyweight champion boxer Ray Mercer weighing 310 pounds. Result? He got knocked into a previously undiscovered level of Internet infamy, teetering over just nine seconds into the bout. It was said to be MMA, but the event was such a disorganized and confusing mess -- bounced from New Jersey, rules debated, briefly cancelled -- that Sylvia may have thought they were set to play checkers when the bell rang.

You’d better believe Bob Arum, Lou DiBella, Floyd Mayweather and other contentious boxing investors with an inferiority complex will be reveling in this for the foreseeable future.

Good job Tim.
