So the Cowboys only loss so far this season is against the Falcons?

Does that make any sense whatsoever? Welcome to the National Football League.

Big..it was their first game out of the box..little nervous and really not sure of themselves...alot of mental mistakes...Condiff (FG kicker) misses key kicks that could have won game but Parcels shows confidence in him by keeping him and saying anyone can miss when rest of Dallas wanted him cut... rest of team also gained confidence in the coach and knowing he will tell them the truth and is well prepared (understatement..he even reviews the tendancies of the refs for each game!!!)..and it shows in following game against the GMen and the Cowboys win in OT and Condiff makes 7 FG's and hasn't missed since.. the rest is history...were even ready for the stupid onside kick of Phillys...may not make the playoffs but at least they will be in each game and these are the same players as last year!!..tell me a coach does not make a difference..next week Detroit and then real test with the Tampa Bay Tampons...we'll see...

I thought the real test for the cowboys was against the eagles like most people on this board were saying "PHILLY WILL BEAT DALLAS". Now you say the real test is against the bucs, thats funny. Dallas to win the superbowl is now at 16-1, not as good as mine dallas 35-1 but it will do.

The real test was against the eagles. Now all they have to do is play consistent and they could make a run for the superbowl.

Jesus or is it HeyZeus...in todays NFL tests usually come every week..Da Boys have lost in Detroit the last 2 years so going there next week after Detroits bye week will be a test in itself but playing IN Tampa against the Super Bowl Champs and how they handle themselves in that enviorment will really tell alot about the backbone of the team whether they win or lose..bbut anyway I like Da Boyz this wk against the lil lions

Ok, the Cowboys beat the Giants (they are awful this year), Jets (same), Cardinals (oh god), and the Eagles (which they won, but take away the onside kick catastrophe and what do ya got)? So the Cowboys are 4-1 and the 4 teams they beat have 6 wins between them. Obviously they are a better team with Parcells ( I concede that) but this team does not have much talent at all. We'll see how they perform the second half of the season. Looking at their schedule I would bet that they will finish 8-8 and maybe 9-7. If they lose to Detroit this week (which is very possible doubters) then they will definately finish 8-8. They are just playing themselves out of a draft pick. Now before all the Cowboy backers on this site jump me, I do concede that they are a better team then before. If they somehow slip into the playoffs they will get bounced in the 1st round for sure. Tampa Bay and Carolina are going to really show you how weak the Boys' schedule has been.

I am a huge Cowboy fan living in Texas my whole life and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly with the Cowboys over the years so I am really happy to see them doing well but their schedule has been weak and I am not ready to say Playoffs let alone Superbowl. Anyway, Parcells has to be the one of the greatest Coaches ever to turn the same guys that have been 5-11 the last 3 years around even if their schedule has been weak. The Cowboys have a big test this week facing a Detroit team that will be ready to play and with a Cowboy team that will probably be looking ahead to the following week. Remember they lost to the Falcons not because the Falcons were a better team but because they were caught looking ahead. Parcells is going to have problems this week trying to get the 1st place Boys ready to play the Lions. I will be rooting for the Cowboys but my money might be on the Lions +3. Doesn't this line looks a little funny? It does to me!
