They've shocked the hell out of me. They lost some really good players last year, but they look damn good so far. They'd have a shot at winning the ACC this year.

When they pounded MoOhio in week 1 they got my attention.
I had O of Ohio that game because of the great returning LB they had.

I like Vandy this week -7. I like them big.
It might be my 6 unit play.

I have an edge for Vandy this week... and they are above expectations but not a real play this week. I have a scale that goes 0 to infinity. I only want to play games that are at or near 12 in strength.

This week has them at 3 strength.

They're still a terrible team and won't go over that number by much. 4-8 seems like a reasonable record for them to end with, unless they have terrible OOC opponents.

I was on them last week, but I took them knowing full well that they are a very bad team. So far this season college football seems to be down big time though so bad teams still have a chance to win some games.

south carolina shit all over themselves in that game last week.
vandy is going to be a bad football team.
they had 225 yards of total offense .... and they cant throw the football.
their 2-0 should be kept in perspective. theyre not good.

moh and scar have shown to be of mediocre offense. Rice will show them something they probably havent seen in a long time. I guess it's sorta close to UF just with much lesser athletes???

the spread offense for Rice will give many team fits especially as the team gets going later in the year. a lot is based on timing and experience and that could be why Rice has struggled a little bit in the 1Q/1H of their games only to come out blazing in the 2H.

Vandy dee is much better than SMOO or Memphis, so Rice wont be able to pick them apart at will, but they will still get theirs.

7.5 is a lot IMO. a backdoor cover maybe? this is definitely a tough task for the Vandy dee and the Vandy offense isnt exactly super explosive

SCAR is 76th in scoring so far... and #10 in defense.

Vandy has no offense and is around #60 in defense.

Tell me how the hell they beat SCAR? Clizutch.

Vandys offense looks better than they have in 5 years...at least. but they could still lose every SEC game from here on

the one thing that was pointed out to me that i never realized is this vandy team is not as inexperienced as i first thought.

if you look at their roster, you'll be hard pressed to find many names with the old "RS" redshirt. of the 50+ players on their team, I'd say 40 redshirted at some point.

more time to get experience, hit the weight room, etc.

with all of that being said....while vandy may surprise a team or two going forward, they still will have a tough time making a bowl game.
