I really have know desire to participate in the POTUS controls the markets debate, but what "today" are we talking about? Because that "today" day is pretty important when discussing how good or bad the President is.

although its my belief the POTUS (well congress actually...they make the laws) can make crises worse by intervening improperly with the markets
