Yes, it does show their reluctance to move off the big number. The Pats have won many games by 7 this year -- Pitt, Indy, and NYJ -- and in each of those games you could've got the game at -6.5 at -125 or lower if you bet early enough or late enough with the Jets (some books had it --6.5 -110). The point is the Pats have landed on a 7 on three games when the line was at 7(at some point)
