Good thing Obama grew up in Indonesia and understands this part of the world:

Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, his prime minister and Cabinet have all resigned, multiple news organizations are reporting, compounding a political crisis that began earlier this week when Shiite Houthi rebels took control of much of the capital, Sanaa, and surrounded the president's residence.
...
The unrest raises questions about the future of Yemen, a key U.S. ally in the war on terrorism. The country is home to al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, regarded as the most successful al-Qaida franchise. Although the Shiite Houthis are opposed to al-Qaida and are battling them across the country, the group is also opposed to the U.S. and is said to be backed by Iran.

I'm sure this will turn out swell.

ISIS gaining ground in Yemen, competing with al Qaeda

Washington (CNN)The Syria-based terror group ISIS is active and recruiting inside the Middle Eastern state of Yemen, already a hotbed of terrorist activity, CNN has learned.

The disturbing information comes from a Yemeni official, who told CNN on Wednesday that ISIS has a presence in at least three provinces in southern and central Yemen, and there is now a "real competition" between ISIS and the Yemen-based terror group al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP.

Where the hell is Kerry? Shouldn’t he be there blowing smoke up someone’s ass?

Or better yet, maybe he and Taylor could do a free concert.

If you mean by “major attack” thousands of terrorist (military style) attacking anything other than a 3rd world country, I doubt it.

If you mean by “major attack” thousands of terrorist spread all over (sleeper cells) attacking say the UK or France again or even right here in our back yard all at the same time, then I don’t think it’s a matter of “if’ but a matter of when.

I’m afraid that is what it will take to wakeup the so called leaders of the world. How soon we forget about 9/11.

We got caught with our pants down and yet our southern border is still a sieve, expired visas go unchecked and no one seems to give a shit.

Unfucking believable. Yet here we are.

I meant 9/11-London subway-style attacks, maybe worse.

So how many attacks would it take for a groundswell uprising demanding governments in the USA and Europe start rounding up Islamic immigrants and throw them out? Just deport them.

If they refuse to assimilate, why are they even here?

Islam is incompatible with Western civilization.

I think anyone who has been associated with Terrorism or have any ties should be rounded up. How those guys in France were taken off monitoring is totally crazy but you can't just round up everyone and deport them.

It's unfortunate but terrorist attacks will happen until the end of time now. Too many nuts, eventually the whole world will be Islam or Muslim. They have mastered the way to dominant power, it will take some time but they will get there. Will someone take them out by then?

It's not quite that simple.

40 years ago, I lived in an urban part of Mulhouse, France. It's a mid-sized city not far from the Rhein, about 20 minutes from the German border. 10 years ago travelling through Europe, I returned to visit a couple friends in the same area and was shocked when they told me, unequivocally, not to go anywhere near the place I called home (downtown Mulhouse) for two years.

The French call them "zones urban sensibles" (sensitive urban zones)...which has evolved into the less politically-correct "no-go zones." The phrase, of course, offends Muslims, but that is exactly what they are: Muslim-dominated Sharia ghettos where local police may or may not respond if you ran into trouble.

Now...why do we have these ghettos and why are these Islamists living in our countries again?

From Dearborn MI, to Paris, to Marseilles, round them up and send them back to wherever the hell they came from. If their children were born in those ghettos, deport them too.

These "no-go zones" are ticking time bombs. They're also a big-ass red flashing beacon for this failed liberal experiment we call 'multiculturalism', which is why most of the West is still in denial.

But for how long?

Your intentions are in the right place, but it isn't that easy. How do you define "associated with terrorism"...? Is it anyone who has traveled to the ME? Someone who makes phone calls to known terrorist hot zones? Someone who frequents web sites which post terror-related shit on it? Someone who follows an ISIS twitter account?

There are some Muslims who have assimilated to this country (although a disproportionately high number seem to be either very silent or sympathetic to the jihad cause). Just deporting every Muslim back to the ME is tantamount to ethnic cleansing and violates the Bill of Rights.

My solution? Let's start with the no-brainer of closing the damn borders. No-go zones are a thing of the past. There is no more special investigation protection for mosques. If it's proven that you leave the country with the intention of joining the enemy, you are not allowed back in. And on the battle field...there are no rules. If you dare kill an American citizen or soldier, we will wipe out an entire town of yours. War is ugly...winning is about who wants to play the dirtiest.

Well right it will never happen as far as rounding up terrorists, Those two in France were monitored and were taken off monitoring not too long ago. Yeah you can't deport them all back like Joe suggests.

"So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear."

"Much has been made of the fact that an African-American with the name Barack Hussein Obama could be elected president. But my personal story is not so unique. The dream of opportunity for all people has not come true for everyone in America, but its promise exists for all who come to our shores – that includes nearly 7 million American Muslims in our country today who enjoy incomes and education that are higher than average.

Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practise one's religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state of our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That is why the US government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it."

"Likewise, it is important for western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practising religion as they see fit– for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We cannot disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism."

"We have the power to make the world we seek, but only if we have the courage to make a new beginning, keeping in mind what has been written. The Holy Koran tells u: "O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another."

Didn't Obama recently proclaim Yemen was another one of his foreign policy successes? Good Grief!

Iran has ballistic missiles capable of hitting Europe.

It is better to be America's enemy than her friend, the enemy gets more respect.

Iran is on the march, the Houthi rebels in Iran are Shite and backed by Iran, Assad is completely under the control of Iran,as well as Iran involvement in Iraq and Lebanon.

Obama is basically incompetent when it comes to foreign policy, he is stubborn and he is arrogant. He is trying to sell to us that Iran is new and moderate. He says Yemen is a success story.

Iran is destabilising the middle east, its missile programme is inconsistent with a moderate, peaceful regime, they want the nuclear weapon.
