I can't lay 10 points w/the Heat against somewhat of a rival where anything can go. And I don't see how anyone can realistically put money AGAINST the Heat at home without taking some form of medication. So, I'm steering clear of that play.
But, there are two ways this game will most likely end up: a) Heat blowout Lakers 102-90... b) Close game 97-95 either way. While Joe Public says Lakers/Heat is going to be a high scoring shootout, and picks the OVER like he always does, this Under looks nice.
Why? Our good friend HYPE. Hype will do 2 things for this under: When games get hyped, players have the tendency to play HARDER, with more energy. Usually resulting in better DEFENSE. Add the fact that Odom, Grant, and Butler are former Heat players, and you can bet they'll play better in front of their former fans. 2nd thing hype does is create unnecessary pressure. Self-explanatory.

I'm looking pretty strongly at this one too. Both teams have "hero" players and each will be looking to shut down the other's. I think this will be a hell of a game to watch tonight.

arty: Almost hit the final score right on the head. My "a)" prediction was 102-90. Final was 102-89 I believe. So, congrats to all the "undertakers".

P.S. - Once again, it would be prudent to not bet against the Heat at home until they prove otherwise.:nono5:
