Encased along with Ted, we could add the 2008 Buffalo Bills, JP Losman’s summer payday, a five and one start, and perhaps the future of “fan football” in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Buffalo</st1lace></st1:City> and certainly North of the border. Within seconds of walking through the deafeningly quiet concourse it was obviously a funeral we were all attending and not a party. Once seated the only appropriate time to stand was to order a beer or take a picture. The game was brutal and could not accurately be called NFL Football without pinching yourself. The fact that most had paid at least triple the scalper’s rate in <st1lace w:st="on"><st1laceName w:st="on">Orchard</st1laceName> <st1laceType w:st="on">Park</st1laceType></st1lace> to see J.P Losman was not lost on me or hopefully anyone else who actually purchased a ticket. If this was indeed a historical event, it was not the kind to be celebrated… no tailgating no cheering no shouting NO standing, lest we block you're view ma’am. Live from <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Canada</st1:country-region></st1lace> on the coldest day of the year, indoor football. A depressing look into the doom and gloom future of sports in corporate <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Toronto</st1:City></st1lace>.
