You won roughly $5,400

I am also assuming no slot attendant swayed you to the machine and you were there for just a few seconds.

Having said that, anywhere in the $200-$500 range would be about the correct tip.

If this EXACT circumstance would have occurred to me, I would have toked $240.

Ok, $100-$400

Anything under $100 would be embarrassing to me if I were with that person and they tipped less than $100.

Anyway, I personally tip between $150-$250 on something like this and I regard myself as just a slightly above average tipper.

did your friend that won $2500 on a scratch ticket, tip the store owner $100, $200? I doubt it. Did you think she should?

Heck, all you got was a chicken salad sandwhich.....

Knowing her, she tipped exceptionally well!

ps- I would not take anything more from her............I had NOTHING to do with her winning the ticket.

i highly doubt she tipped!

:icon_conf right, you had NOTHING to do w/ her winning! What did anyone at the casino have to do w/ you winning on the slots?

Nothing, but it is just common cortesy to tip in such an instance.

It really comes down to the individual, but if I am just walking through a casino and casually win $5400, I am going to share my good fortune with somebody at the casino that works there..........that is just me.

Many individuals I know would not tip one red cent, well others I know would tip over $400.

I know what you mean, some are rather bad.

They actually receive a smaller tip from me when they are this way.

A $100 toke in this instance is just fine Sherman.

Very generous of somebody to tip that amount and the slot personel should be very content with that.

As mentioned, consider myself a SLIGHTLY above average tipper and is probably the reason I tip a tad more in this instance.

Its all good.
