I would like to take you up on your quote about Bodog when you said:

"That's quite an accusation to make without proof. I highly doubt that BODOG would ever resort to this type of thing..."

That was referring to my accusation about them having another book's list.

You want to bet that BODOG did resort to this type of thing?

Truth:

Now how in the world could Shrink have knowledge of anything like that?

But IF you have knowledge that Blow Dog has a stolen d/base list why not enlighten us?

If he doesn't have any knowledge about it then don't say shit about the situation and doubting me like he did. He will just look like a fool in the end.

Not offering a specific comment on this one way or another but I can offer a generalization...

Stole is a pretty harsh term for something that is relatively common practice in this business. Anyone that has only a handful of betting accounts and gets a mailbox full of junk daily this time of year can attest to that.

A list is a list is a list in this business and everyone from handicappers and people like me all the way up to sports book owners has the abilty to access player details like email address and home addresses if they are so incline. I don't mass mail because I don't see the point in it given the amount of spam out there these days, but I have in my possesion several lists totalling close to 2 million email addesses last time I checked.

They come from all kinds of places, sports books, direct sales, trades with other site owners, etc. Anyone who thinks that their info isn't available for the right price is naive.

More to the point in this particular issue, the info is out there all over the place, no need to steal it. I can't see any one sports book or sports book groups list substantially more valuable then any other list that would require a theft to access it.

They now are resorting to soft porn to get customers. What's next?

Strange, Shrink hasn't answered my request yet.

Listen to JJ here.

They may be overspending on advertising using of course the post up $$ and hoping for a big win out of the box.

This tactic got other books into trouble before.

Don't believe the hype! BoDog will be around long after half the people here piss away their whole bankroll.

The thing that people still don't get is that this little online world equates MAYBE 1% of all the people that gamble online. And I don't just mean the RX, I mean all gaming info sites, mine included. I can't stress enough that if every poster here banded together and boycotted a BoDog or a Pinnacle or an Olypic they wouldn't even make a dent in their customer base. Believe that!

Why do you think that BOS has 2 pages EVERY MONTH in Maxim? BOS and BoDog both understand that the general population is where it's at. The ratio of recreational players to pro's, sharps or even moderately educated players is at least 20-1, maybe even higher.

BoDog isn't a street guy that got some servers, it's college educated people looking to capitalize on the revenue that can be generated by not being ego driven and catering to Joe Middle America; not the people here or anywhere else online looking to move and get over.

Just a general statement:

When it come to trust and wagering... I'll take the REAL old-time "street guy."

In another 10 - 20 years it will be ALL college educated people. The street smart people will have died from cancer liver disease and kidney failure.

JJ:

I just talked to the new bookmaker at Bodog.

He doesn't bullshit too much about money matters aand he tells me B Dog is on very solid footing.

This is a big plus for B Dog to have a quality BM working there now.
