jwunderdog,

I would bet WILLIAM & MARY if I were to bet at all and here's why...

William & Mary already defeated JMU on the ROAD last month. Both teams are coming off of dramatic WINS last week. William & Mary has a GREAT QB and COACH, plus they are playing this game AT HOME...

Many here in Virginia are saying this is the BIGGEST GAME ever to be played for this Divison 11 College, William & Mary...

Although these two teams usually have close results when they meet, I'd have to say WILLIAM & MARYcovers tomorrow night.

In addition, I understand they are closing the College early tomorrow due to the anticipated crowd and carnival like atmosphere expected as this game will be televised nationally on ESPN 2...

Hope this helps and Best of Luck...

My father went to the game last week and him and others were going crazy. Success rarely comes to the Tribe (in athletics, at least), and believe me they will be going crazy in Colonial Williamsburg Friday night.

Jimmye Laycock of W & M is one of the best coaches in the country. A consistent winner at a school with very strict academic standards. Laycock actually accepted the Boston College job a few years back, then had a change of heart, so that tells you the kind of job he is capable of.

Add in, the first ever night game at Zable, the fact W & M defeated JMU once already and has beaten them consistently in the past, and the momentum from a dramatic comeback last week. It all adds up to a victory for the T-R-I-B-E!

BTW, the Green Doberman connection to W & M is that both my mother and father are alumni.

Where can I get a line on this game?
It's true that JMU lost to W&M at home a few games ago, but W&M scored with less than a minute left in the game as I recall to take the lead.
JMU is a ball-control running offense, and W&M throws the ball alot. I also believe the weather report is calling for rain, and it has been raining off and on all week in Virginia, so that might hamper W&M as well.
I'd love to bet JMU here if I can find a book with a line on it.

W & M's Lang Campbell is one of the best QB's in 1-AA (along with Ochs of Montana and the Fla. transfer at Furman.

Either way Virginians will be proud to have a team in the finals.

As a Colorado fan, I say F Craig Ochs. Actually the best QB in 1AA this year has been Texas A+M transfer Dustin Long for Sam Houston State. Long and Campbell are 2 of the 3 finalists for player of the year. The Tribe will roll tonight.

I took JMU +4.5 for today. Too many rah-rahing of the the Tribe, while the line movements at Pinny says otherwise.

Tomorrow, I took the UNDER 68 in the Sam Houston/Montana game as there is an 80% chance of FREEZING RAIN in Missoula during gametime. That should hold down two prolific passing offenses.

Looking forward to the game. Being spotlighted on primetime ESPN should cause big hearted play from these schools.

Darn good football game IMO.

Total decided early and the side still in limbo.

I am enjoying the game.

Was only an 8 pt lead in 3r qtr when I posted and W&M had the ball. They fumbled it away about a minute later.
