PM, no way the SHrink is this bad. I think it was his weird way of giving you a bonus for coming on board. Those plays he made, particularly yeasterday (Tex. UNDER 10???), tells me he's not taking this thing seriously. I wouldn't be surprised if Angelle is making his picks.

I know I remember reading Shrink was more than a good handicapper before he started this site.

Max - LOL. I have already decided this will be my last moderator job. I will "retire" here.

Val - we agreed not to comment, a wager enough to keep it "interesting" for us. No big deal if you have Shrinks bankroll no matter what it is.

Sue - if it is a bonus I happily accept. Still much work to be done though so I hope he continues to let me win. I have been known to go on 2-16 streaks from time to time.

Buzz - no thanks. I learned my lesson in football last year against you. At one point in the football contest I was on the run of my life. I think I was 10-1-2 (don't quote me but close) in college football but in 3rd friggin' place!! If that can't win I know I can never win. I never did catch you. I recognize my limitations and I won't be knocking on your door for any football wagers. You can count on that....

Why is it if you have an under 10 and it's 8-0 in the 9th the team with 8 already has to send the game over? Couple of meaningless homeruns usually. Anyway no complaining, went 3-1 for +1.90 units. Updated record thru 6/27:

McIrish 18-10 +5.97 units

Shrink 20-25 -6.13 units


I still have to get some plays in but it is over 12 unit lead now. Let me give you a deal Ken to think over. If you want to forfeit this one I will give you a double up deal. We have until the trip to do another one and most units up wins. We can even do no cap on the amount of plays since I see you like to play a lot of games. Of course if I was you I'd wait a little longer as I could get cold before I use up my 50 plays but if you want to give this one away it will allow you the chance to get even.

I must be nuts for offering this deal. A smart gambler would linger his 50 plays out until the trip and not give Shrink a chance to get even but it's not my style. Pay off this one and we can go double or nothing? Let me know Ken. I can't expect your luck to be so poor in this contest again but I have a lot of gamble in me. I can't wait to see the line Fernando would hang for a rematch. They laughed at the -160 but this guy knows his shit....
