is it a correct statement that you should NOT prescribe PAXIL to a patient who is bipolar without administering a mood tranquilizer as well?

In other words, is it malpractice to give ONLY PAXIL, with nothing else, to a bipolar patient? Thank you, Dr.

The answer really DEPENDS on other factors IDENTITY...

A Bipolar patient who is in the manic phase requires much more attention usually than when they are not...

I dop believe that making a broad statement that giving paxil to a BP patient is malpractice in and of itself is false...
