I think people who create the threads should be banned. If you're going to allow them to create the threads and not move them, you should allow people to respond. Unless you just want a full on pro-Trump circle jerk. 9 out of the 10 political threads on the front page are pro nutter Trump supporters.
they will attack each other,, eventually- zero self control. They see the name, and.....boom......attack mode. Perhaps it brings them joy? It's what they know and being civil is not an option, I suppose. If you don't find their daily exchanges fruitful/entertaining? ........well...........dagone.........
They shouldn't be banned from the Offshore, but should be banned if they continue to start political threads in the Offshore...believe that's the point but want to be clear. Not in favor of straight banning the 8 or so from posting anything in Offshore, unless additional political violations occur.
Ban the people creating the nonstop threads like AlwaysRight and have 1 or 2 threads with a warning that people should only come in if they aren't little bitches who can't handle a political conversation without getting insulted or complaining it's ruining the forum. There's no way to have civil political conversations with Trump supporters unless it's just a full on Trump circle jerk.

You-know-who can come in here and give their usual "if you're a grown-up you can just skip over the threads you don't wanna read" argument. But when an increasingly higher percentage of content on the main board is grown men calling each other names, most valuable posters will just lose interest all together and go elsewhere. Just because they're not starting "look at me I'm leaving" threads doesn't mean it's not happening. Which results in a watered-down pool of posters, and in turn a higher and higher percentage of garbage, which turns off potential new posters.

Aren't you the mod who said you would allow 5 or 6 political threads up here prior to election? We now have double digit threads up here and you're asking others what should be done?
