Should Syria be next?

Along with the the stated "master strategy" should the US move on over to Syria next.
Want to get a feel for how the forum is feeling about this.
Since what we are stated to be really fighting is the war on terrorism, it would seem pretty logical, since Syria has long been know to sponsor and harbor terrorists, and has sent people into Iraq to oppose the US. Also been reported that they are giving refuge to the evildoers of the Hussein clan.

I mean if we are gonna do this thing, shouldn't we just do it right, go the full 9 yards?

ok i'll go first....undecided...I have some mixed feelings on this one. To be totally consistent with the stated objective to eradicate terrorism, then the logical answer is yes. But, as with this action I fear the damaging effects on our relationships with our allies and other nations.

Having said that, I did study International terrorism as part of my undergrad degree and 12 years ago Sryia was at the top of the list of rogue nations in sponsoring terrorism. Another was Cyprus and Iran.

yeah, and the republican guard is a force to be feared to. Then, when/if we can ever defeat them we have to deal with the real badass elite republican guard - they are they best fighter in the world - make me puke them pussies.
