Should Detroit Lions President Matt Millen (white) lose his job for calling Kansas City wide receiver Johnny Morton (black) a slang name for being gay?

The NFL already has fined the Lions $250,000 for not interviewing a black canidate for coach.

Millen also had diahrria of the mouth last year when he went on the Mike Ditka radio show and joked about a player's manhood.

This guy should have left with Morningwheg. Just about every move he has made, whether it be draft choices, free agents to and from, trades, has been a disaster.

The Lions have nothing. They have NOTHING. They have no talent whatsoever on offense (including quarterback) and only a couple aging linemen and a couple decent young corners on defense.

This guy has done more damage to the organization in three years than Russ Thomas did in twenty.

Pitiful. I almost feel sorry for the Fords. They want to win. They are not cheap, never have been. They have always tried to win. They just are incapable of hiring the right people to make it happen.

If Matt Millen stays on, this team will set the consecutive NFL road loss record so high it will never be broken. They are going nowhere and nowhere fast and furious.

Millen doesn't deserve to be fired for that incident alone, but he does deserve to be fired for ineptitude overall.

He's basically an absentee GM that has not made very good personnel decisions and on top of that has drawn negative publicity for this, and prior, for calling one of his players a coward. Poor judgement all the way around.
