You should be able to narrow down your answer to just one position folks.

Im leaning between the first two but still not sure

I don't think he'll go, although it's not as far fetched as a lot of people seem to think. The guy has been a winner every year he's been in the league, even when he was on some average St. Louis and Islander teams.

Top ten in regular season wins, top ten in playoff wins, multiple Cup wins, and maybe this year a Conn Smythe. He gets in easily.

Never has a player suffered so much for his assumed reputation.

I've never been a huge Osgood fan, but what more does the guy have to prove? He's already earned his place at the HOF, whether or not he wins this Cup.

Osgood used to be good. The only reason he is what he is now is because of Babcok, the Detroit defense, and that sick ass system they implement with ridiculous backchecking .

He looked pretty damn good last night when the Wings D broke down at times.

He's got the rings...the wins...the stats....like him or not...they dont lie!

Hes a slam dunk Hall of Famer.....

People might say he's a product of the system....What goalie isnt? As great as Broduer was/is.....the Devlis defense and that neutral zone trap was a big part of his success....Patrick Roy was pretty average in game 7's....piss poor from what I remember, actually....he won the one against the Devils for the Cup..that MIGHT be his only game 7 win...didnt show up against the Wings in 2002 when the Wings wont 7-0.....You can make cases for and against anyone...but if we are going by numbers and titles....how can he NOT be in? The answer is...he is a LOCK...its not even a question.....

Since I am sick of discussing this, this is something I posted from last June, this should clear things up:

posted June 10, 2008 08:29 PM

Looking at all-time wins, Ozzie is currently 15th.

Out of the 23 goalies with 300+ wins, here are the players not in the HHOF:

Brodeur
Belfour
Joseph
Hasek
Vernon
John Vanbiesbrouck
Andy Moog
Tom Barrasso
Osgood
Sean Burke
Richter
Kolzig
Rogie Vachon

How many of these do you not see in the HOF?

If Ozzie hits 400, he will be in the top 10 in career wins, along with:

1 Patrick Roy 551
2 Martin Brodeur 538
3 Ed Belfour 484
4 Curtis Joseph 449
5 Terry Sawchuk 447
6 Jacques Plante 437
7 Anthony Esposito 423
8 Glenn Hall 407
9 Grant Fuhr 403

Of the 9 from above, Brodeur will def be in, the only 2 that arent are in right now are Cujo and Belfour. Whether or not you question their worthiness, they will make the hall eventually. How can Osgood not make the hall with 400 wins then if the top 9 are in, with Hasek at #10 right now with 389 wins and a sure-fire HOF

Hes played well the 1st two games.........He's been the best goalie so far in this series. Zetterberg's been the second best goalie in this series.
