I do not care who wins UGA/Bama, you cannot tell me that neither is not one of the best 4 in NCAA along with Clemson. I think the bigger question is who is the 4th best or is there? Cases can be made against all of them.

Based on my "Eye Test":

Notre Dame - Great year but I am not impressed, when I watch them i see nothing that makes me look at them twice and say wow.

OU - They can score on anyone in the Big12 but can they stop anyone?

Ohio State - Poorly prepared team, some good athletes/team speed but consistently play down to their competition which is not a sign of a great team.

I think Alabama would embarrass both Ohio State and Notre Dame if they got the 4th spot, I do think because OU can score they could get in to a track meet with Alabama.

I think the best match ups for entertainment purposes would be:

#4 Oklahoma
#1 Alabama

#3 UGA
#2 Clemson

I have never seen anything like Alabama in my lifetime.... those that cannot acknowledge their greatness are either not very smart or just filled with hate.

No team with a defense in any way like Oklahoma's... Could ever deserve to be part of any championship series.... Or even a big time Bowl Game.

Case closed!

Can't argue about the defense, i would just ask what makes them worse than ND or Ohio State? Another big factor with their defense that is over looked is the fact they put up so many points they put all their opponents in a position to throw to score points and keep up. With today's officiating it favors the passing game, so I can understand a little why they give up so many. They would hang a ton of points on ND and OSU and not sure either has the ability to keep up with them.

Why even play the games, just decide Ala has the best players, coaches and team, award them the trophy..

Of course this is my opinion and on any given day Appalachian State could beat Michigan:) 8ate I did not say to give it to Alabama and close the book. I am of the opinion the 4 best teams should play and if UGA loses to the best team in the country today I don’t think that should hurt them because they have two loses. As an Ohio State fan I am of the opinion that a loss at LSU and to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game definitely trump a very underachieving Ohio State team who got ran out of the building at Purdue. On ND tbh I don’t even think they are on the same playing field with the 6 being considered. I look at their schedule and I don’t see one impressive win at all, but because your undefeated your considered elite? Not to mention they have non of the pressure the others have in trying to win a conference let alone play in a championship game.. look what Georgia did to Vandy and ND escaped with a win.. if UGA holds on and wins you keep Alabama out because of one loss ? Just my opinion and that’s all....

I go on the belief of strength of schedule and who teams beat more than the eye test. Ohio State had more risk with their schedule then Oklahoma so in my opinion if Ohio State and Oklahoma finish the season with 1 lost then Ohio State should be rank higher.

If Alabama loses to Georgia then they should be out of the top 4 because their strength of schedule does not out weigh not winning a conference championship.

**

Big 10 vs Big 12 *** 2018 ***
Big 10 won all 3 games.

Texas 29 @Maryland 34.
Iowa State 3 @Iowa 13.
Ohio State 40 @TCU 28.

"I have never seen anything like Alabama in my lifetime."

You must be a teenager.

Miami had teams that would whip Alabama.

They are not going to do what they did last year in put in 2 SEC teams and yes Notre Dame is getting in IMO

Alabama
Clemson
Notre Dame
Oklahoma

I like the Buckeyes dont get me wrong but that fiasco earlier in the year I think hurts the Buckeyes

They also showed Ohio State with a 71% chance of making it and Oklahoma with 26%.
I don't have a dog in this fight but Oklahoma has 1 THREE point loss to a top 25 team.
They wouldn't have lost by 20 at LSU or 29 at Purdue....
Yeah I know their defense has issues like Ohio State's but COME ON....
OSU and OU both had weak non conference schedules not necessarily their fault as TCU and UCLA were reasonably competitive programs when they scheduled them but in what universe is OSU's "body of work" markedly better then OU's?
And Georgia's non conference schedule, get fucking real.
OU and Georgia played in the CFP last year in an even steven overtime matchup so please spare the horse shit about Georgia is inherently more talented..
Is the major opinion here that OSU gets in over OU? Really seems fucked up.
And again being from the Midwest I have always been a Big 8/Big 12 fan but not a huge Oklahoma lover by any means.

I agree with this, and as much as I don't like Ohio St I wish they would get in before Oklahoma, but I really doubt that happens

OU lost to a ranked TX team by 3.... Oh St got drubbed by 29 to an avg team. Both won 3-4 games vs ranked teams.... Not even a comparison.
You don't make playoff by showing up toward end of season.... Whole season worth of works.
